Breast Implant Results
Your final results will take time to become visible. Most women don't see final results until three months or more after surgery. During this time, your breast implants will settle into place to create a natural, attractive result.
Once surgical swelling resolves, your breasts will reach their final size, but their shape will continue to change. Your breasts may initially seem too high and may have too much fullness in the upper part, but as the implant settles they will attain a more natural shape.
Body Image
Breasts that are not ideally suited to your frame can impact every aspect of your body image. Women who have breasts that never fully developed or breasts that are different sizes can experience limitations in clothing options and an overall decreased sense of body image.
Breast implants cannot solve all of your body image issues. It is important to have realistic expectations and goals when considering this surgery. However, working with our surgeons, balance, symmetry, and appeal can be restored to your chest. This may be exactly what you need to regain the feelings of confidence and appeal you deserve.
Changes in How You Are Perceived
Many women find that their breast augmentation results in many changes in the way they look at themselves and the way others look at them. In addition to self-confidence, some women experience increased feelings of attractiveness that can positively affect their sex lives, with both them and their partners reporting increased enjoyment.
You may also get increased attention from people on the street or in the workplace. On the whole, most women report this increased attention as positive.
Wardrobe Changes
After your breast augmentation, you will likely find you can feel more comfortable wearing clothes that in the past made you feel self-conscious about the size or shape of your breasts. You may also find that clothes you used to wear not longer fit right. You will probably enjoy the process of picking new clothes, but it may take some practice learning what looks work best for different situations, such as dressing modestly for work or family gatherings.
You will also likely want to get new swimsuits and bras that will better support and flatter your new look.
